I want to love these so much. The extra bass is so good. But I have had two pairs now break at the hinges of the ear cups. On my current pair, the left side broke, I super glued it back and have just tried to be gentle with them. 2 weeks ago, I had the right hinge break in the exact same way. Now I have 2 super glued hinges and a jank looking pair of headphones. Going with Bose next time I think because I had the same issue on my XM4s before I switched to the ULTs.

Contact Sony. It looks like they may replace the hinges, even when out of warranty. It's a known issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/SonyHead...ar_hinges/
