hahahahaha, guess they farked up and didn't put guardrails on this promo - claims to be only valid for a couple of metro areas, and I definitely don't live anywhere close to either of them...

I at first tried the credit card I had on file but it failed for some reason to enroll in the auto-renewal. Once I switched to Apple Pay it worked and is now showing Uber One for free for the next 12 months.
