Got this 65" for $800 on a deal back last year, really fantastic OLED especially for the price. Dont expect super bright newer C/G LG type panels, but I came from a brighter full array Vizio (that punched over 1k nits) and dont regret switching to this, even in a bright room (living room). The brightness loss did take a little adjusting to first week or two but I never notice it anymore with how much richer the picture is with true blacks now.

I got Panasonic MiniLED 55 for almost $300 on deal, remote is the same, how is that compared to this OLED? I also got LG C3 so really don't need one but tempting, I think this one was on BF sale for almost $500

It is an LG panel, I believe it's the B3, possibly B4 panel.

Lol. These are not the best TVs. It's very silly to get this over an LG, Samsung or Sony.

This is a WOLED panel. RTings calls out the brightness for this TV, and you really want a QD-OLED for the brightness and color improvements.

RTings rates this TV very high. It is an honorable mention for Best OLED:

"The Panasonic Z85A OLED is a very capable OLED TV that competes with the Samsung S90F OLED. It offers better upscaling and low-quality content smoothing, which is nice to have if you watch a lot of low-resolution, heavily compressed content. However, the Samsung is superior in pretty much every other way, making it the better choice for almost anyone."

The Samsung S90F they are comparing it to is selling for $1100. The last Slickdeal for the 55" S90F was $918 (frontpage deal +104 rating).

This is 30% cheaper than that slickdeal. Of course it's not AS good of a TV, but it is a very good TV for $650.

Thank god this has an LG OLED panel in it, then.

It's literally LG's flagship panel from a few generations ago, with upgraded image processing and features.
