If you're asking about the difference: quilted style is textured (basically, like a quilt), so would be the choice if you want a more decorative canned jelly/whatever. Functionally, there is no difference as both are 8 oz ball jars with canning lids.

What's the average reg price? Only thing I dislike is how the lid rust and get black spots easily.

I have two types of plastic caps that I use for non-canning (one has a rubber seal, one is easier to open but not 100% water seal). The traditional rings and caps I only use for canning and they can only be used 1-3 times before rusted or seals are expended.
