I've had this (in white) for a few years and I honestly love it. The cone itself is as good as any other cone I've ever used, using Melitta-style filters, and it feels well built, so for the price it's great if you just want a cone to do traditional pour-over. The water tank for the drip I see as an optional thing and it's very helpful for me on mornings when I don't have time to fuss with doing my pour, and it makes a great cup of coffee also, no worse than a regular drip coffee maker. And finally, underrated accessory is the included lid that can be used as a tray to place the cone after you're done pouring.
