Looks like it may be fun, but compared to other retro devices, it's still pricey for what you get really. At around $50 it'd be a bit more palatable.... perhaps one day...

They finally dropped the price to $99 with the code. It will go down even further someday...

Yes you can, depending on the firmware. Latest official firmware removed PS1, but you can install custom FW which allows for many different cores/emulation

It's worth it due to the trackball and spinner control!

That is the real advantage to this system, just at $100 it still feels a bit pricey to me. Also read the screen quality is only so-so.

$100 retail, $50-$75 w/ sale pricing, and I think it'd do a lot better. I'd feel a lot better buying it at $50, anyway. At $100 I can live without paddles. But that may just be me and my cheapskate instincts.

It does quite a bit for the price. You can also (easily) add games with an SD card.

I just think it's hilarious to see the Atari 2600 version of Asteroids up on a 4k flatscreen. When the VCS came out, the big appeal was that you could approximate the arcade experience. Now, you can emulate every part of the OG arcade ROMs, and there's apparently still people who are nostalgic for the chunky, pastel hued home version of Asteroids.

It's about $4 less than when I got it. It's an alright console but the buttons are way too noisy/clicky.

Why anyone would buy this in a world with incredible $50-100 emulator machines that can play MAME, PSX etc, is beyond me
