A/b time the prices of these processors came down especially when the Zen 5 refreshes are rumored to be coming out pretty soon.

Is this good for gaming. Not talking about like extreme 4k settings.

the intel motherboard only supports one generation of processors, AMD could support next few generation processors.

Yeah it's ok. Not too bad. I'd rather get a 9800x3D/9900x3D for an extra 150sh dollars. You can future proof your PC with it.

Realistically, if you only build a computer every 15 years it probably doesn't matter which one you pick. What about your use case would be a deciding factor?

The Intel generally give you 2 to 3 generations. Not sure where the 1 generation is coming from.
Also, if you need or want an NPU in the Chip then the Intel is the better choice.

Yeah it's good and if you favor more cores for other tasks this is a better option than the 9800 X3D.

Got one to replace my 9600X. Thanks. Doubling the cores will certainly help with some tasks and extend the lifespan of my build.

Only worth it if they are a high-fps gamer, though.

LGA 1851 only support Arrow Lake that is one generation.
