I have this. It's big and fast. Almost a laptop replacement. I would prefer a little smaller like a 10" but this one does the job. The 8300 processor is snappy

Compared to a Samsung or Apple where does this stand?

I have the 10" non-pro version and love it. I bought a case with keyboard, and imo, it's definitely a substitute for a netbook.

This is comparable to. Samsung Tab 9 Lite or a 10 Lite. Very solid midranger.

By the way, you'll want to make sure you get a PPS charger if you want to charge this. Even an expensive 100w charger will run so slow to charge that any usage of the tablet will negate the battery percentage. I got a two pack of 45w anker PD3.0 PPS for $12 on amazon.

Odd question - would this work well for a headrest mounted entertainment solution for a minivan? It's actually cheaper than some of the off brand displays that are listed specifically for that application.

I have this and use it mostly to read PDFs or comics, it's excellent for that. But it's heavy and 10 minutes into a reading session I'm already looking where to put it at an angle to keep reading.

I've been using a 13.3" Thinkpad Yoga 370 for the same usage. I know that pain, but suspect after building up my arm muscles this would be light as a feather.

It would be great. Link it to Bluetooth in your car.

I have this but in the 256GB from best buy open box item. Very large screen, great for content consumption and replaces my laptop in some cases. Good battery life and speedy processor. I'm using an external monitor with this almost 50% of the time with PC Mode and works well.

I agree it is a great price ! 13 inch screen but I can see that weight can be an issue after a while ! Tempting !
