For 4 bucks more, you can get one with 8 outlets (newer model): https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Exte...0D14HKY6Q/

Anker is a very reputable brand though, and with electricity, this should be a major factor in a purchasing decision

Pay a bit more for power surge protection, unless you don't care for that.

This has a VERY particular use case for me. It fits PERFECTLY on the back of LG OLED TVs in between LG's own mounting solution for their G series TVs (G3 in my case) with the very low profile wall mount. I use a standard VESA mount so being able to put this in the unused space saves a lot of cable management when I can plug the TV, Soundbar, or other USB devices into this and just run one cable to wall. Obviously you can do this for other TVs, but it is legitimately perfect on LG TVs that use LG's own log profile mounting solution.

Two weeks ago, we had an electrical surge in our house due to storms. Fried many major appliances as well as handful of our electronics. Family is safe, all that matters.

Going forward, I'll never buy a power strip without surge protection

I have this. Works fine for the AC outlets. The USB not so much. Don't expect the usb plugs to work. I have to unplug my usb cable everytime and plug it into another port for it start working again. Not sure why.

My house was built in 1932. Using a surge protector is pretty much pointless. I have a couple of these, and so far, they do what they're supposed to do. The spacing on the outlets is good for adapters, and I haven't had any issues with the USB ports that someone mentioned.

For staff to post something like this with any mention of the surge protection rating or charging capabilities should be grounds for a malpractice charge! :p

Edit: I also realize at this point it's probably a bot posting but train the bot better!
