The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller stands out as a versatile pad for Switch 2 and PC, with TMR joysticks, Hall Effect triggers, a great D pad, and a handy switch between analog and digital triggers. It also supports Bluetooth on Switch and can wake a Switch 2 after setup, while the docked dongle is for 2.4 gigahertz use rather than Bluetooth. The Bluetooth model lacks 1000 hertz polling, uses D input instead of X input, and does not support Steam Input, so the premium mainly buys Switch compatibility. The coupon also appears to be dead, which undercuts the posted price.

I have 2 of them that I use on my switch 2, and they both work via bluetooth. I believe the dongle is for 2.4GHZ not bluetooth.
I LOVE these controllers, they are incredible, especially for this price. My favorite part is the switch to change from analog to digital trigger buttons.
