Same comment as has been made in the past -- kind of dumb to have a propane smoker if you have electricity available.

If anyone has a natural gas hookup you should be able to change the orifice jet nozzle and have the perfect smoker.

Read the recent reviews: Good Product, but has been discontinued , and parts are no longer available for this smoker. I would NOT recommend this product due to the fact that it has been discontinued. Product support is also of no assistance for this model due to it having been discontinued. I wish I would have known this before my purchase.

With parts being discontinued, this is only worth $100. I have a Brinkmann propane smoker that is almost 20 years old. The company went out of business in 2015. I can't find a wood chip or water bowl but I have been able to improvise the bowls so I can still use it. Looking at the Pit Boss and the way it is designed, improvising seems off the table.

Even though this product has been discontinued, parts must still be kept in stock. Since the product was sold in California, it is subject to strict consumer protection laws.
The California Right to Repair Act (effective 2024) requires manufacturers to provide parts, tools, and documentation for:
  • 7 years for products priced over $100
  • 3 years for products priced between $50 and $100
