This is a great cooler, highly regarded as one of the best air coolers at this price point. I have one cooling my 9950x3d in a tiny ITX case.

Searching implies the "extrem" (extra e would be too much, apparently) means you get 1850 RPM TL-C12C Extrem fans with dual ball bearings instead of the S-FDB fans in older PA 120 SE versions. Not sure if that makes it louder than the non-extrem versions.

Spend a couple bucks more and get the newest Phantom Spirit model. Keeps my 9800x3D frosty.

Yeah the Phantom Spirit was 35-36 for the longest time. Haven't checked prices lately but it's a little better. Then again who is building a computer in this economy? Nearly every component is at all-time highs. I'm tired of winning.
