Not sure why this is downvoted, this is exactly when I would use this. Tight spaces where a normal length ratchet does not fit.

Ideally you would have this in 1/4" for the even smaller socket form factor but 3/8" drive comes in handy also

Got a HFT Pittsburgh version of this and realized how handy they are to have. Mine isn't flex head but it is a stubby.

I have one and this is my favorite ratchet in the drawer. I use this 90% of the time and only a use a longer one for torquing/initial loosening.

You would only need it where you couldn't use a basic ratchet. Thats the point of it

Would Extension Bar be better in this case?

Not when you are working under the dash or in the engine bay, you can't make an extension go around corners (not very well anyway ha).

This is 120t vs 90t on the Icon, plus the flex head is nice. I have a set of the standard 120XP (1/4, 3/8, 1/2), love them, ordered this too ๐Ÿ‘

I thought back to when I had to cut a line wrench to about 3" long when removing a power steering pump, where I couldn't get a crowfoot and a stubby wrench was too long, and ordered this ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

Tell me you've never worked on brakes / suspension without saying you've never worked on brakes/suspension.
