This is a decent deal, I paid 50-60 for a no name one just like this. I don't use it all the time, but when I need it, is SUPER handy. I use a cheapo laptop padded sleeve to store it in.
Like if I have to work on another computer but don't want to give up my main monitor... THIS. Or if I'm doing insanity spreadsheets for work on laptop? THIS. Or I'm at work and have to multitask and need more screen space? Yep, THIS.
So much so in fact I've thought about getting rid of my server/workbench monitor and just using something like this instead of the old 27" monster
I have even plugged in my Amz Fire HDMI stick and used it as an improvised 2nd screen during football game conflicts to watch 2 games at once
This 15.6 inch 1080p portable monitor is mainly valued as a cheap second screen for work, travel, and couch use. It fits temporary multitasking setups well, from laptop work and MacBook Pro travel use to iPad, iPhone, Firestick, and even arcade cabinet projects. The listing appears to include USB C and HDMI cables, and it has worked flawlessly in real setups. The main caveats are the lack of a case or cover and no power brick, so storage and power may need to be handled separately.
Traveling MacBook Pro users who need a temporary second screen, because it works flawlessly across laptops, iPad, and iPhone with the right cables.
Office multitaskers who want extra screen space, because it is adequate for general office work and handy for spreadsheets or working on another computer.
Yes. Similar portable monitors in this price range are adequate for general office work, and this size is handy as a temporary second screen for multitasking, travel, couch or bed WFH, and laptop setups.
It can arrive with USB-C and HDMI-to-mini-HDMI cables, but no power brick. One setup report says both cables were included and the monitor worked with a MacBook Pro, Windows laptop, iPad, and iPhone.
The 4K version is around $190, so the $39.99 1080p model can still be worthwhile if you will use it regularly. The tradeoff is that 4K would be more useful, but at a much higher price.

This is perfect, I just bought two. I plan on making my own arcade 1up cabinet. But this is instead of having two players next to each other, they are facing towards each other with their own cabinet. Basically a mashup of a stand up cabinet and an arcade table.
I purchased the first 2 you listed, and a few others not mentioned in this thread while testing out portable monitors a couple of years ago. The ones in this price range are similar enough that they're all adequate for general office work use cases. I use cheap laptop sleeves to store them while not in use.
You askin' me if I used this before? Get the fark outta here. I practically invented the way it's used, I'm talkin' daily reps, okay? This thing is more reliable than my barber on a Friday night before a holiday weekend so if youse gonna use it, do it with some respect, capisce?

The monitor can serve as a convenient temporary second screen for multitasking at work or during travel.
The monitor can work across multiple devices when the correct USB-C or HDMI connections are used.
The 15.6-inch portable size can fit well into couch or bed work-from-home setups.
The monitor can be useful for DIY arcade cabinet builds as part of a two-player facing setup.
The listing may not include a case or cover for storage and transport.
The 1080p resolution may feel limiting compared with a more expensive 4K version if higher clarity is important.
The product may ship without a power brick even though it includes USB-C and HDMI-to-mini HDMI cables.
The stated thickness or USB-C port dimensions may be inaccurate based on the side-port picture.
