Are these things able to withstand hoses being on constantly?
Don't want it flying off and then wasting thousands of gallons of water

Heads up on these: I got into these because they have options for short and frequent intervals for misting systems that others didn't seem to have at the time, and because they seemed to be the name brand in this space. I ended up building a 4 zone irrigation system for my front yard, and a rooftop sprinkler setup, each controlled by one of these controllers, and they all failed, some in just a matter of weeks, and none lasted for much more than a year. Water always somehow gets into them and ruins them. Conversely, when the first failed, I replaced it with one from a brand called Ryscam (insert joke about "scam" being right in the name) because it was on a sale and seemed to have timing options I could use for my purposes. When the next Rainpoint one failed, the Ryscam was no longer available, but I recognized the Lumary ones as being identical, and both the Ryscam and Lumary models are controlled by the Smartlife app (Lumary has their own app for these if I recall correctly, but I recognized the app interface as being pretty much identical to the Smartlife app and tried that and sure enough it works) Both those brands are cheaper, use half as many batteries as the Rainpoint, The batteries last significantly longer before needing to be replaced (several months at least, even with the cheapest AAs I could find on Temu), Have arguably better timing options, are controlled by an app whose existence seems less tied to the success or failure of one company, and most importantly, all of the Lumarys and the one Ryscam have now outlasted the longest lasting Rainpoint without any ever getting water inside, and none have failed. Also, I'm not positive, but I think the valve in the Lumary/Ryscam models may allow better water flow, as I use rotary impact sprinklers and was able to achieve the same throw distance on the sprinkler heads while spreading the spray out more after switching.

How about this one comparing to "Orbit B-hyve Gen 2 Smart Hose Faucet Timer with Wi-Fi Hub 21204"? Thanks for advising!

I had 4 B-hyve and connected to irrigate 4 different zones. Two of them started leaking after two years. I worked with the customer support and got it replaced. After one year, all four (including the replaced ones) of them failed. The same issue- water leaks even when the valve is shut.
