Game runs and looks great on both switch OLED and switch 2. Motion controls can be kinda annoying on some levels but other than that im really enjoying this port

Just finished MG1 on the Wii then gave the Switch version a try. The Wii's fixed sensor bar aiming is superior to the Switch's gyro aim that tends to drift off center. Something to consider for those who have access to the legacy hardware.

It's kind of wild how Nintendo manages to hold the line on their pricing even on 15+ year old games. Still seems quite expensive to me, but probably a good deal compared to the normal price. I don't remember finishing the first one back on the Wii but it was still a pretty fun game

I would really like to know how the motion controls on Switch 2 compare to the 3D All-stars game played on a Switch 2. Because the All-stars version of Galaxy 1 is way too sensitive (on Sw2).

The cursor literally moves with my heartbeat. Drives me kind of nuts. There needs to be a dead zone.

They are old Wii games. I would hope they look and run well on a system that is two and three releases later.

This is one reason ive left nintendo. Im tired of being fed 15 year old games at modern game prices.

I mostly just ignore the re-releases, except for a couple that were worth it to me (e.g. Metroid Prime Remastered).
