$90 isn't the regular price for this. I paid ~$56 just a week ago. it's a deal at $49, but not that steep of a discount

Question on behalf of most home DIYers:

Is there any reason at all to buy this when we are loaded with powerful Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Bosch drivers? The ease of the bits all being in the case? (That's the only reason I can think of).

So, so what happens when battery dies in middle of assembly, plugin and wait for recharge? Or when usb-c port becomes inevitably flaky or worn out

FYI I was just at Marshall's yesterday and saw them there. Unfortunately I did not look at the price, but it's worth a shot as it might be cheaper there

Not really... unless you want a more versatile tool that you can use on electronics like a custom PC.

I suppose the niche is tight spaces that benefit from low speed/torque like in a computer case. But these things are heavily advertised, I think they're mostly just cashing in on reinventing the wheel here. These things have existed for a long time but I keep seeing this brand everywhere out of the blue recently.

I think people tend to get lost in the sauce here on SD and forget that they're being manipulated into buying things they don't really have a need for. We're conditioned into the mentality of "buy now, think later" because of the high of "saving money". In reality, the real slick deal is to use what you already have.

This, right here, should be the true motto of an SDer.

That's what I thought too. Except the thick bulky body of the screwdriver doesn't fit that well into tight spots as an ordinatry mini screwdriver would.
