And the trimmer, blower, battery/charge combo is regularly $119
Does not compute.
Just had a chance to use it this past weekend and it was ok. It was able to handle my yard just fine on the battery (1/4 acre lot w/fencing on three borders, three flower beds, and edge grass on sidewalks/curbs).
I had my old trusty gas powered Craftsman string trimmer die on me last year after many faithful years (20+) of service.
So, coming from a powerful gas powered trimmer to this, I was a bit underwhelmed at the power and at first concerned but it did the job (albeit a bit slower).
I don't like the smaller line size for this trimmer (.065) - I wish there was an easy option for going to a larger size line. I'm going to try out this other brand of trimmer line (.065 size) and see if it cuts faster/better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002S47...title
At $29, this was steal - I hope it lasts a few seasons. I do appreciate the fact that I don't have to maintain a separate gas tank w/fuel oil mixture.
