This is like a printer. At this price, it would be best to buy several of these instead of buying replacement filters. Mom sent me a message to start looking for water filter options a few days back... looking. Thanks OP.

I recommend going with a well known brand to ensure filter supply continuance. Top counter machines like this were almost 400 dollars. Glad theyre working on affordable countertops.

How do you decide which of the 2 to buy? Near 0 TDS or PH Balance is better for who?

But you don't always need to replace all at once. Usually the first filters need replacement more often since they fill up the most with particles.

Why do you want 0 TDS? Maybe figure out why you think that's even good to begin with and then decide.
Also not sure why you're worried about pH.

True 0 TDS strips the water of all minerals and makes it slightly acidic--pure RO water can't be run through copper pipes because the copper will leech into it and eventually you'll have a hole in your pipe. The pH balance version adds back some of the minerals the RO membrane strips to bring the pH closer to neutral (7).You really need to TEST your water first, then research which contaminants each model effectively removes and to what level, and decide from there.

Off ebay undersink filter is 130-160, and filters as cheap as one can get. I helped many friends install those and they been in service for decade or more. No need to buy expensive stuff or rely on designs with expensive filters
