This is the old Naval Jelly. Has been around forever. Works great. Just make sure to prep the surface and clean. It's $5.99 right now.

Appreciate any insight as I wasn't familiar with these products - and now my head is spinning how much I could use them for!

(dang it, don't know how the first half of my comment is in your quote, sorry!)

Buckeye, you seem to know these products.

I just saw the Flitz Metal Polish

https://a.co/d/0eALGOXq

Would that be good to use after this rust neutralizer?

((I give up, the more I try to edit this, the worst it gets lol))

Will this also work as the original locktite to seal screws firmly so they will not fall out?

No. These products turn the metal into a paintable surface, generally the metal will look like it was painted black like it has been primed. It converts the rust it does not make it "disappear".

Naval jelly works so well the surface needs to just be barely clean.
Acid in jelly form works wonders.

Can I use this on brake calipers? I just want to minimize the surface rust.

you will have to paint after this, it does not seal the surface against further rust

would you happen to be aware if this or naval jelly causes metal embrittlement?
