The 2.0 Ah batteries do not last long at all. For this amount of money, you can get a LOT more Ah if you get the generic brand battery on Amazon.

It really depends what you are using it for. Anything bigger than a 4Ah and it is too large to fit in my mower and chainsaws from them

That's incorrect. The 40v batteries are all the same physical size. The more the amp hour the more it weighs, but they don't change in size like Ryobi batteries do. I have an 8ah greenworks 40v battery and it's the same exact size as my 2ah.

partially true. they are not all the same size. but they all fit into 40v equipment. i have the huge 8.0 and it fits fine in the 6 products i have

Hell, this redesign of the 2Ah battery doesn't fit in my twin blade mower with the door closed. Got one as a replacement when the first one died in the warranty period.

This one only has one 1 star review and other 3 are just rating with an over all 3.7 star. Not a great product just based on reviews.
I have 2 of these 2 amp batteries. They don't last. I only use them on my trimmer or blower for small area or something quick. Anything bigger, I go for the 4 and 5 amp batteries such as mowing the lawn.

I can't get the 2ah to run my mower at all - I got one with the leaf blower, and thought it would work everywhere. It does not. That said, it's very light, and works great on the trimmer

I might give a generic a try, but I don't hear many good things about most brands, so it would be nice to find a decent quality one.

I'm part of the Amazon Vine program so I've gotten to see a lot of the aftermarket tool batteries. Those Amz and ebay companies will just make up any amp hours numbers they want and slap the stickers on the battery case.

The OEM Greenworks 40V battery has 20 tightly packed 18650s inside with no wasted space. So a 6 Ah battery has to be 50% larger and heavier.

Just noticed on the greenworks website all my loyalty rewards ($65 worth) were removed a couple months ago due to inactivity. No warning whatsoever. Back down to zero and it took me years to get even that high.

I tried a few different generic brands on Amazon and none of them held charge like the GW ones even when new. I now have only the GW batteries.
