Os this regional or is it dead? I see $39.97 for both after adding the battery to the bundle, all the way to final check out page.

Took me a few tries to get it to apply the promo.

Here is what I did...
- follow OP link then hit the "view full product details" link on that page.
- scroll down just a bit to the "free gift with purchase" area and click the "shop this offer" link
- it should show your charger in one promo box with the 3ah battery underneath... Click the "select" button, then the "add to cart" button, then "view cart" and select delivery or pickup.
- you should see the promo discounts applied to the prices of both items now.

Worked through that and both items do add to cart with adjusted prices, but the total price adds up to 39.97 (I tried twice, once store pickup and the other free delivery).

Also, tried it through ShopExchange/aafes, and it says the deal is sold out so I can't add the free battery. I also normally get 10% off in cart for Ryobi tools, even bundles, but not for this deal.

Hmm yeah that's strange... But not uncommon for home Depot screwing up deals and discounts lol. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Yea home depot deals piss me off all the time. Like I have 3 zipcodes I have to try between myself, my work, and my parents to get deals to activate and then sometimes the zipcode that works for the deal won't allow shipping, only delivery, which is a god damn $35 fee.

I followed @jesterfx directions above and the battery showed up as $16.14 and the charger $13.83 with free delivery

It comes out to $39.98 for me. For those who got the deal, what was the original price of the charger -- $29.99 or $39.99? For me, it was the latter.

EDIT: This must be regional pricing: when I put in a Portand, OR zip code as per the comment below the charger pricing changed to $29.97:
