Even better--someone figured out how the paper identifies "official" label rolls and posted a workaround. Looks like there is an RFID tag in the label spool and if you hold one of the empty rolls to the bottom rear corner of the machine it fools it into thinking its an official spool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsaJETCCsTk

Proprietary labels, be careful.
But AliExpress has some cheap supplies.

For better context: the list price is $39, not $49, and the usual price on Amazon is around $27 for the last few months - so the deal is really just the coupon. It's still a good deal IMO, but it's more like 45% off rather than 69% off.

Sale price is $26.95 or $24.95 for me, depending on color. I didn't see a coupon.

i see no use case for this. marking a drawer as "pencils"?
Wondering this as well. Regular thermal printer could be used for shipping labels, but this?

Just FYI, thermal labels/receipts have BPA and BPS which are toxic AF, especially right after they are printed when they are warm. This is the reason I don't even collect receipts anymore while shopping.

I have a Phomemo D30 which is very similiar. It's really kinda a niche product but it's good at what it does. For example I use it to label color swatches for 3D Printing (Swatches I use: https://makerworld.com/en/models/...hes-w-case & labeling system I use: https://makerworld.com/en/models/...stomizable ).
It's a good general purpose labeler also and is very customizable like you can have multi line text of different sizes, text going up and down or sideways, barcodes, symbols, etc. Not sure on the Nimbot but the Phomemo can connect to your computer making designing the labels easier then trying to do it on your cell phone.

Anybody know if Niimbot labels work with Phomemo printers?
