These Ozark Trail "backpacking looking" chairs have steel legs and this child size one weighs 2.65lbs. For comparison my amazon special adult sized backpacking chair with alloy legs is 2.51lbs. The $12 price is good though if you aren't concerned about weight. I've experienced that the leg tubes will rust inside when left out in the rain (it was a week long camping trip) and then the rust water runs all over when you fold it up.

We got this chair when my daughter was five. It fit her fine, but it tipped over quite a bit. It's a nice thought for a kid's seat, but I just don't think it's safe for the little ones.

I came here to say the same thing. These tip over very easily, and your child at any age, will fall over when using it.
