Looks like a really good deal for a 55 lb set. Unfortunately 55 lbs is a bit low for intermediate lifters. I got the 50 lb powerblocks from Woot and my son immediately made me buy the expansion to 70.

It depends. I'm an advanced lifter and I could do a lot with 55-pound dumbbells. It's great to combine this with a gym membership.
