This is the best it's been in a little while, but it still hurts knowing I was getting these for like $9 a year ago.

coffee prices have gone up a good deal in the last 6 months. I get thumbs down'ed a lot because I try to post the best going deal price at present, but people are so used to paying far less they think it's a crappy deal.

$12.63 with s&s subscription and 15% discount. Not too bad for 2.2 lb right now, giving it a try.

Why is everyone being downvoted? This is literally one of the best whole beans you could buy. I'm shocked people go for some of the other crap deals just to save $2. I only put this in my body, can't go back.
This is just the world of slickdeals. If I didnt get it for freeeeeee it isn't a deal /s

That's what you think, if I don't get the product and walk out with a few dollars to boot - a money maker - it isn't a real deal like the old days 😁

Probably because you are claiming grocery store beans are the "best whole beans you could buy" lol.

Almost anything from local roasters will be better than this although it is a decent amazon/grocery cost efficient option if you manage to get a good roasted date.

Because it is the worst of the Lavazza lineup. Why do you think it is on sale so frequently? Super Crema and Crema E Aroma are far better Lavazza choices when a deal is available.

Good for serving to your mother-in-law or visitors you don't like.

Earlier this month (around the 14th), there was a coupon deal that made this exact Lavazza whole bean roast $10.40 with a 25% coupon & 5% S&S. The 25% coupon was YMMV and many people had already 'used it' before. I would have been sub $9 if you had 15% S&S, so a $9 'deal' like before is possible. Looking at my history, I see deals from a year or 2 ago where this coffee was $8, even as low as $6+ per bag!!

Sure, but ALL coffee was way cheaper a year or two ago. A 12oz bag at Target used to be like $7.50. Now it's a 10oz bag for $13.

I think so.. I have a Oxo burr grinder and it turns out alright. I have an old Ninja drip coffee maker so not a coffee snob. I didn't like the Gran Crema flavor, too much of a bite.. took a lot of milk and sugar to handle it. Strangely enough I saw found this deal on prime before it was posted. Hard to go back to big store grind that costs much more now.

I turned back when I read the most recent (this month) 1-star review.
"Beans were over a year old since their roast date! Not acceptable for proper espresso. Ordered 03/13/26. Roasted on 02/05/25!"
Too bad people never specify which seller did them wrong. I've revealed it before in a review I wrote, so I know it's allowed. I always assume it's NOT Amazon that did the horrible thing mentioned in a scathing review, when there's a few other sellers listed. So that review I quoted might not even apply, since seller Amazon is the specific deal quoted here.
