I used to think there was a reason why these were extra and that reason was that they released the drugs quicker. It's heavily implied by the advertising and that's the point. As it turns out, liquid gels are actually slower release than tablets. Even "quick release" gels are only quick release compared to regular gels but still slower than standard tablets. Save your money and space in your pantry and buy tablets.

Pretty much everything online says otherwise. Liquid gels absorb faster.
