I don't have buds 4 pro but I do have these. In my opinion, they are unbeatable at this price point. My biggest gripe is multipoint connection is limited to samsung devices only. My work PC is a thinkpad and my phone, watch, personal PC are all samsung. I can't listen to music on my phone and take a meeting on my computer without switching buds.
edit: I think there is a buds manager app for windows but my work PC is pretty locked down so I can't install software.
Bestbuy does not, but a scammer can return a fake and fool bestbuy, and potentially making you the final fool if you buy it open box from Bestbuy. caveat emptor
Bought this about a year ago for a similar price and did not have fakes, but I believe making sure it shows up in the Galaxy Wear app is enough to prove its legit.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro stand out for strong sound, effective noise cancellation, and a comfortable fit, with good call quality, voice commands, and even live translation and LE audio support on compatible Android phones and PCs. At this price, the value is hard to ignore, especially for a premium Samsung set. The main cautions are open box condition and authenticity, since some units arrive scratched, missing tips, or heavily used, and Samsung device limits mean multipoint is not as flexible outside the Galaxy ecosystem. A solid pick if you want flagship features and can verify the unit.
People willing to verify legitimacy and accept open-box risk for the price because multiple commenters say the deal is hard to beat at this price point, with good sound/ANC and easy returns if something is off.
Samsung phone + watch users who want a cheap pair of ANC earbuds because multipoint is limited to Samsung devices only, so it works best when your phone/watch/PC are all Samsung.
Android users who care about low-latency audio and supported LE/LC3 playback because commenters call out LE/LC3 audio compatibility as an underrated feature with "unbeatable" sound quality and latency in this category.
Buyers who are okay learning touch controls over time because one commenter said the touch controls took weeks to reliably use, but once learned the earbuds were comfortable with very good sound and noise cancellation.
People who are sensitive to fit issues or hate stems-in-the-case design because commenters mention mixed reviews on fit (including earbuds not staying in the ear) and also dislike the Buds 3 Pro stem/case design.
Anyone who wants "excellent" open-box condition to be consistent because commenters report open-box quality is random luck-some units arrive scratched, missing parts, or even DOA.
Buyers who can't tolerate a potential defect after purchase because some commenters report serious issues like one earbud playing only on one side or one earbud screeching that troubleshooting didn't fix and replacement wasn't honored.
Shoppers who want to avoid counterfeit risk in open-box because commenters warn that scammers can return fakes and leave you with a counterfeit, advising extra checks.
Work PC users who need seamless switching between a non-Samsung work computer and their Samsung phone because multipoint is limited to Samsung devices and you may have to switch buds when using a non-Samsung work PC.
Condition is inconsistent: some arrive clean with all or most tips and work like new, while others show worn cases, scratches, missing tips, heavy use, or even charging defects. If the unit is bad, Best Buy returns are reportedly easy enough to use.
Sound quality and ANC are described as very good, with mic quality also strong; one comparison puts them close to AirPods Pro 2 for sound and ANC, with better mic quality. Battery life is generally enough for a normal day, though it may fall short of the advertised claim.
Some units reportedly develop a screeching fault or play only one side even after resets, and troubleshooting may not fix it. Samsung warranty replacement has worked for some buyers, but if the issue appears after warranty you may be stuck.
The buds can be genuine even when the box is missing or the serial number is not printed on it. After pairing, the earbuds should register in the Galaxy Wear app and show serial numbers under About, which is the practical check for legitimacy.
Multipoint is limited to Samsung devices, so a Samsung phone, watch, and PC can stay connected together, but a non-Samsung work PC may require manually switching buds. That makes them less convenient if you need to jump between a Samsung phone and a Windows laptop.
I've had these since release, and no such issue. Could be bad batch? I've used most galaxy bud models, even live. This is one of the best and it has voice commands, and best call quality aside from newer Buds 4 Pro.
mine did the screetching thing, but samsung replaced it within warranty. second set working fine
Wow. Amazing deal. The 4s are just a slight improvement these sound great. Big underrated feature is LE or LC3 audio compatibility. Turn on LE audio on certain android phones and pcs and the sound quality and latency are unbeatable in this category.

No better time for me for this deal. In for 2 just in case one of them isn't up to par. Also nabbed the last Buds2Pro for $37 ob xlt as a backup. Hopefully none of them are fake.

Maybe, but if you research this issue it is a very common one. That doesn't mean that everyone will have the issue, but many people have by the number of posts about it. For me the 2 Pro's were superior in pretty much every way. But I got a good deal on the 3's with trade in and EDU previously so I can't complain too much. It's just if this Samsung design/manufacturing flaw occurs when you are past the warranty you are SOL as I have learned firsthand which is pretty ridiculous in 2026 for a pair of recently manufactured earbuds.

Great price! I have two pairs both which I bought new around $100. I use them for everything including running. Mic is ok. But it's all about the fit. Reviews are mixed. Some people hate the fit. But generally they don't fall out of my ears even when sweaty and running - maybe in the most intense case I've had them slip a bit. They sound great.
No multi point. When you have a device connect, the other device will be disconnected.
Occasionally a bud won't properly charge in the case which is pretty annoying. Generally just need to reposition it a bit but feel like it's a flaw with the case.
I'd like to try the 4s to compare but Samsung hasn't offered any trade deals.

Think I'll buy one. My absolute favorite has always been the buds live ones of which I still have two pairs that I use every single day. For me they've been the best ever and fit extremely well.

Shows that the pair I received have 1100 charge cycles on one bud and 900 on the other. The case I received looks fairly worn down, which corresponds with the usage data. Definitely not what I would consider excellent condition...
Edit: also, they came with new tips which do not fit the ear buds.
