I've always had good results with Kasa. 70% of my house switches/plugs are Kasa controlled.

This switch is really great for the garage and storage/walk-in closets.

Needs a neutral wire, which is probably the only reason these are used.

This is their worst product. I used 2 of them in the past and I have since replaced both. I have never come across smart switches that go non responsive like these. I had to constantly reset it to even manually turn on or off.

Agree. I used three of the ES20M which is the version with dimming. These things lock up for unknown reasons, motion stops detecting and unable to manually turn on or off depending on what state it locked up in. Have to reset to fix it. Glad I replaced them, terrible product to have when you're not able the basic function of a light switch.

Strange. I have been using 4 of these for a few months for bath lights and fans. Not a single problem yet. I was thinking of getting more. I'm only using the Tapo app and not Kasa.
