Just beware when buying from Best Buy I don't know if this is new they have second party people selling under the Best Buy name not a fan of that

The real deals here are the PlayStation Fortnite bundles which are $100 less than other pricing and $200 less than they'll be on the 2nd. Wanted to make the thread so anyone on the fence about purchasing had time to before the price increases next week.

If you have a slim with disc, GameStop will give $376.75 trade credit and $357.50 just the slim.

If you have the disc version, I would trade it as a slim. But, you have to give them the plate from your new ps5 pro. That's if the employee lets you do this

Not worth it to trade the disk drive for $20 and then have to buy a new one at $80 if you want it to go with your pro.

I think the disc drive in my initial release PS5 is starting to fail. Sometimes I have to try a disc a few times. I have one disc (Blood & Truth) that it won't read at all anymore even after cycling it 20 times.

I have tried to place order for PS5 disc edition w/Fortnite ($449) on PlayStation, and GameStop numerous times since past 3 days but it's not going through.
Gamestop doesn't state it is OOS but on the last step of placing order it says it's unavailable.
PlayStation simply throws message on the last step of placing order - "Thank you for your interest in the direct.playstation.com experience. Unfortunately we are unable to process your transaction. Please visit one of our retail partners.". Their customer service through chat is unresponsive.
I thought of price match through BB, but they are selling it through third party sellers with not so great reputation.
I'm in Austin, not sure if location has anything to do with this issue.
Any other ideas in how to buy this deal?

I'm able to get to the final checkout page as well. Both Gamestop and Playstation decline only after clicking "Place Order".
