This MacBook Pro deal stands out for the M5 Pro chip, 48GB of memory, and 1TB of storage, making it a strong all in one machine for heavy work. The price was widely viewed as attractive at around $2600, especially versus prior MacBook Pro purchases and after price matching at Best Buy or Micro Center. Stock moved quickly, and the listing later climbed to about $2634 to $2789 in some locations. A few comments also flagged confusing sale timing and price changes, so the value depends on catching the lower price.

  • MacBook Pro upgraders consolidating a laptop and desktop, because the 48GB memory and 1TB storage make one machine replace two older systems.

    chasemyaccordsmacky00

  • Power users needing a large-memory workstation, because the 48GB configuration and updated chipset feel like a strong step up from prior Pro models.

    smacky00ElatedString650

  • Shoppers comparing against retail pricing, because the deal can land about $300 below EDU pricing and roughly 16% off launch.

    pianomansamkonjecture

  • Buyers who need a guaranteed in-stock purchase, because the laptop sold out in multiple locations and restocks have come back at higher prices.

    chasemyaccord3Do0oXTTpepecharrascas

  • Shoppers expecting the listed sale price to stay fixed, because the price has been raised by about $170 after appearing lower earlier.

    MarkT4717dewittgarrypepecharrascas

  • People who want a bright-screen deal without paying extra for glare control, because matte or nano-texture options are hard to find on sale and can add hundreds more.

I successfully price matched to Best Buy. This is a great deal. It hasn't even been out a month and it's 16% off!

Sold out, at least for west coast stores. Pretty awesome deal. I would seriously consider unloading my 14" MBP M5/24GB/512GB I just got a few months ago and my Mac Mini to consolidate to one machine.

If you purchased the same laptop for slightly higher price as a part of the deal posted about a week ago ($2789), reach out to MicroCenter support for the price adjustment. If you paid with AMEX and MCIC cards, they can do it online, otherwise you can do it in store. Hope MicroCenter will keep their word!

Damn, I got my M4 Pro with same RAM but 512GB SSD for about $2500 last summer. Thought it was a steal. Now this one has double the storage and updated chipset.

Great deal, especially if you can PM with Best Buy and you use their credit card and get points.
