I just bought the Z623 to replace my Klipsch ProMedia, which I've had for over 10 years, but the subwoofer no longer works.

They're both fine speakers but I would consider that a downgrade (I had the z623s before getting the Klipsch)

I've had them both. The biggest difference for me was the Klipsch's treble was much more directionally dependent. The Logitech speakers are much more omnidirectional. As for the sound signature they are pretty similar, to me, the Logitech seemed to have deeper bass but I've seen measurements that say the Klipsch actually does. I gave away my Klipsch to a friend and he loves them for his desk setup. I took the Logitech to my office, works well there although I'm never really turning them up anymore but either way they are pleasant to listen to.
