I'm using G3P800 for 2 years already. No issues. My family loves it.

I have this model for the past 2 years. Easy to install. My TDS went from mid 500s to low 20-30s. Works well, no issues.

I have this exact model from 11/2025. changed from ispring tank system. much better output if you drink a lot of water. In hindsight, I'd consider the gp800 for even higher output. tap is about 250-300 tds and the system gets it down to a consistent 5-10 tds. the filters are wasteful compared to other systems like the ispring.

I dont care about highest output (I think), but ive read the 800 has UV sterilization and remineralization.

Seems the the average price on this is $430, so not a super deal - but just wanna get something that is good. Im on well water btw.

Can you explain what you mean by "the filters are wasteful compared to other systems like the ispring"

Thanks.

Yes, you need Waterdrop PMT Small Water Pressure Tank to get to a fridge water dispenser or ice maker. I am using this for a seltzer system that has a tank inside a fridge to feed the system

I have 2 of these, the first one came in and it had a small leak, contacted them and they said package it back in the box, keep the filters and they had a new one at my door steps the next day. Highly recommend the G3! I know tds isnt everything but at both houses the tds is below 7.

I have it installed in my home for 3 years and my parents' home for a year. Excellent. Love the display on the faucet. Filter change is super easy. Doesn't waste water and take up massive space like the old RO system.

Dumb question since I know very little about plumbing. If I already have a tee in my cold water line that goes to the fridge. So how would I hook up the RO filter if there is already a tee in the line?

I have another model G5P700, which is 700GPD model while this one is 600 GPD, filterwise G5p only takes two filter in total, versus this one is three. so depending you wanna little better filtration, or go for more cost wise. for TDS wise, before it was hitting 150-200TDS, after filt it usually stays in between 3-9TDS. so i am happy with my G5P700. and plus, it is higher GPD where it drops water faster than 600 models.
