Something's fishy. Why does a 3600w generator have a single 20a breaker? From the looks of things, it's so cheap because it's actually only capable of 2400-2500 watts sustained output.

agree......it's a cheap one use generator that will last 4 to 7 days of run time......Power Smart engines on lawnmowers have a bad reputation

Been impressed with the Harbor Freight, Honda knockoff generators. Really quite, which works well in the middle of the night when everyone has no power after a hurricane and you don't want to rub it in to all your neighbors that you have a small amount of power.

Well no lol. You can literally see on the front panel that there's a 30A outlet. 120x30 = I think you can guess. The 20A fuse is for the.....20A outlets. Who'd have guessed.

You got me curious. Looking at the manual and the layout, it appears the 30A is protected by the master 'overload' inverter reset breaker.
Then there are separate breakers for the 20A AC and 8A DC outlets.

I have built houses with HF generators. Days of work and never an issue with it yet.

(Not the person you replied to) I wondered the same thing and assumed what you found in the manual probably would have been the answer...but was too lazy to research it myself. Props for the due diligence
