1. Will Milwaukee honor their 5 year warranty on items bought thru Woot? 2. Could this be used to sharpen lawn mower blades?

Milwaukee will not honor the warranty since Amazon/woot is not an authorized seller

Thanks. Any idea if this small guy could be used to sharpen lawn mower blades? I own no other grinders.

A die grinder can work to sharpen lawnmower blades but I wouldn't rec it. An angle grinder or a flat tool to use is better so that you can manage an angle throughout the grind.
Milwaukee has honored warranties from non-authorized before, it's just not guaranteed.

Lol actually, Milwaukee will honor the warranty even if you bought a power tool from a crack head..

The lawnmower blades thing is weird to me. Yes you can use it, you can also use sand paper, just doesn't make it to best tool for the job. A $14.99 angle grinder and $5 flap disk from harbor freight will dog walk this thing on sharpening lawn mower blade. However this tool is extremely useful for many other things and grinding/buffing. I've been waiting for one to go on sale for a minute and as 150 it's a great deal.
