The ZR added to the model name means it's "refurbished." I'm using the quotes because personal experience has me convinced DT does absolutely nothing to refurb anything and just throws them in a box as they came in.

Return or warranty return. Sometimes you get lucky and they're in great shape, but most of the DTO refurbs I have received have been full of dirt, sand, grease, etc. like someone used it for a few months and then sent it back.

Mine arrived the other day and is new in the box. I would not know if it was refurbished or a blem. I guess just extra inventory.

Have not tried it yet but have some projects coming up that I'll test it out on.

Same her with the two blemished items I received, one had part of the "Ryobi" label gouged (seems like they could have slap on a new one), the other looked completely new.
