I think they were looking at a brad nailer. Finish Nailer seems to be $210 without battery at Home Depot.

What's the quality difference between factory blemished and refurbished? I get one was broken and then fixed... and the other was "scratched" or something at the factory? I'm more asking ... if it's better to get one over the other, as they're more reliable? I have not had good luck with refurbished stuff.

Exactly what you said. Blemished at the factory is that it's not perfect enough to be sold as 'new'. While one is refurbished so might be a return/warranty exchange. The main difference is blemished has 3 years factory warranty from Ryobi while the other one is one year only

No. Blemished is literally brand new in original sealed box with original warranty. Home depot has exclusive to sell so they label it blemished to get around that. Refurbished is return item that is likely super abused and could be missing stuff. Zero actual refurbishment, they rely on returns as their qa for these, been burned a few times with the refurb tools being so beat up and abused and not even turning on

Yeah, I've gotten plenty of 'blemished' from DT, and it has always seemed pretty much brand new. Have gotten 1 or 2 things without retail packaging before, but still in brand new unused condition.

$15 shipping kills the deal. The free shipping "offer" didn't work for me after providing email and number. I just got a text confirming sms updates and never received a code.

That's exactly what happen to this site, their shipping often kills the "discount". And when they do offer "Free shipping", the item price raise.
