Modern version of this classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkHgZpYLpHI
The video posted is one of those butt-shakers that just jiggle things. I actually am "classic" enough to remember seeing the remnants of those in the late seventies/early eighties in a few fitness places as a child.

The foot thingie by contrast is more of a cycle Wink

For such little motion does it really accomplish much? I sit in front of a desk all day so I'm curious.
I've had the Cubii brand and it did tighten up my calves. But for those with hip issues or advanced age? I don't know. It's better than being sedentary and it does help circulation.

I'm really confused... doesn't the motor defeat the purpose of exercise? Also skeptical of any reviews that mention the full name of the product ... "I bought this Under Desk Elliptical Leg Exerciser Machine" ... come on
No. It is also used for rehab. The automates are going to move the legs rather than someone else doing it.

The manual modes function the same as one that have no automatic modes.

This is targeted towards seniors who are more likely to have the need of an assisted mode.

Therapy bikes are for movement, but it is a baseline the rider is to push faster than that, there is a resistance level that is implemented for endurance building. This is focusing on different muscles than a bike. I use bikes for every level patient and set the resistance to the patients level of endurance.

Interestingly I left it in my cart and when I went back in 20 minutes later the coupon became $40 off.

I have all sorts of cardio equipment, including a $4K elliptical machine and $3800 ElliptiGo bike. In a week, I have to have full knee revision (replacement) surgery, and I believe this machine would be valuable to force the knee to flex and extend in a slow manner (at first) in order to get muscle memory back. After several weeks, I would graduate to the full elliptical machine and eventually the ElliptiGO bike. Is this something I'd use long-term? No, but it could serve a good purpose during the initial bending and extending of the knee for about 3-4 weeks. At this price, it is cheaper than one PT visit.
I had double total knee replacement surgery one week a part from each other last year. One of my biggest issues I dealt with after going back to work (office type job) was the tremendous amount of stiffness I'd get in my knees after sitting for awhile (20 minutes or more). If I had this, it would have really helped alleviate that issue. I'm now 8 months post surgery and still deal with a bit of stiffness so I'm going to get this anyway and see if it helps.

Its like those battery operated bikes. What's the point? And Americans wonder why they're fat, other than their overly processed garbage fatty foods.
