Every BT speaker needs to be adjusted and should have an EQ, which many don't.
The (Anker) Boom 2 is considered one of the best BT speakers in the market, and the custom EQ is really thorough and there's enthusiasts on the forums that share their EQ profiles to make it shine appropriately
FWIW, I had two Bose $400 Soundlink Max's in stereo and that had to be EQ'd as well, and while they sounded very good as well, it's definitely in the same "musicality realm" as this $40 Boom 2!... At 10x less the cost!
Remember folks, all this equipment is bluetooth -- not audiophile! No one should ever think otherwise. But you can get good pleasing sound out of them for the beach and backyard or desk and the Boom 2 hits enough checkboxes to cover most home user's needs very well!
