If you want a quality boutique 4k release that hasnt been out for Years already that's about average now outside of labels that are clearly a step down like Kino/Shout which you can get for 17-20 if you wait.

Pretty comparable but I think most people would give the consistency edge to Arrow.

What's on sale that's worth buying? Only one listed for me would probably be RoboCop. There are a bunch of titles on Amazon as well for $25 but nothing that jumps out at me that I need.

Most popular are Basterds, 12 Monkeys, Waterworld, Robocop, Warriors, Deep Sea, Wild Things, Cell, Desperado, Frankenstein, Friday 13th, Hugo….but you can't go wrong with any of the other movies on the list

Except they don't own the rights to many films worth watching let alone owning unlike CC.
And some in the collection that are worth having are available from other releases for far cheaper with reasonable quality.

I find Arrow to be comparable to Shout/Scream Factory especially in terms of extras.
A depressing trend in Criterion lately is to have very thin extras (almost as bad as Disney/Marvel) when they used to be stacked. I was so excited to get Network (my 2nd favorite movie), but except for a Paddy Chayefsky feature, it's all recycled from the previous normal release. There's also controversy about the color timing of the transfer (which also happened with Eyes Wide Shut), so I don't know what's going on at Criterion, but I decided to pass on what would've been an insta-buy.
OTOH, I just got the Shout Select Streets of Fire 4K and they have TWO feature-length making-of docs.

I may have to give these Arrow and Shout/Scream Factory releases a chance, then, if I see personal favorites.
