Tastes much better than theTyson lightly breaded slim breasts(?) (maybe flattened tenders), which are not even cooked and have gristle on almost all of the wide ends.
But to each their own.

The samsclub 'just bare' nuggets are pretty good.

Agreed. Had the exact same experience with the lightly breaded. The lightly breaded are awful in every way.

We just bought the 5lb bag of the Perdue, panko breaded chicken breast nuggets. Currently, they are $9.99 ($4 off), so a great value (on paper). They are not good, in my opinion. Not even as good as McDonald's. Strange aftertaste, as if the oil was old.

Can you elaborate? I think they are the most popular brand associated with chicken. This isn't about some political stance, is it?

No. Tyson aren't known for quality foods... and particularly those they refer to as "chicken".

IMHO - heavily breaded. Eat carefully or it will rip your mouth up too.

The internet says otherwise, but you do you. It isn't considered as a premium prduct line, such as your local butcher or organic quality. Maybe that's what you're after. But to be fair, Tyson was in the title before you clicked in and they say there is some dissent. I guess I've been lucky to be mostly happy with their chicken quality- Both fresh and frozen varieties.

I side with the majority.

Bought one and confirmed almost ripped my mouth too due to the heavy breading which made it almost hard as rock. Will be my last buy for this

I have had these many times and never ripped the roof of my mouth. My advice. You guys should definitely avoid Cap'n Crunch.

The title warns you right on the package that they are crispy.

And again, I have no issue with the proportion of breading to meat. But everyone likes what they like. To each their own.

If they come out "hard", you overcooked them. Different ovens and air fryers cook a little differently. Adjust down the temp and or time and figure it out, if you prefer soggier strips. Or just avoid foods sold as crispy all-together.
