I bought this game on Steam when it launched and refunded it after seeing the reviews. This game released December 2024 and the reviews for it are still Mixed on Steam. There was one major update in February 2025 and it hasn't been touched since, so this is as good as it will get.

Unless you absolutely need to play a Beat Em Up in the Power Rangers universe, I'd pass on this game. Common complaints are lack of variety (game reuses entire stages, not just enemies), no replay value, and cost.

Why'd you refund it after seeing reviews? Did you not at least try it to see if your opinion of it differs from the others? You know you can play 2 hours of it within the first 2 weeks and then refund it, right? Form your own opinions.

Fair point, but my schedule doesn't allow me to play games the moment they are released. Often times, it takes me months before I even play a game.

Realistically speaking, the issues outlined in my OP are still valid with or without playing it. I'd rather refund the game than waste any amount of time on a game that is meh at best.

If I want a good beat em up, Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT Shredder's Revenge are far better choices.

FYI - This is under $20 at Gamestop used so you can get this for ~$10 if you jump on their 4 for $40 deal this week.

FYI: Gamestop Pro is $25 for the year and they frequently run a discount promotion that reduces the cost to $15 if I remember correctly.
