Guys, stop posting false information here. First of all, this is not a rain jacket. It's a windproof soft shell. It's as warm as a heavyweight fleece jacket, but heavier due to the windproof shell. The interior of the jacket is fleece.

I own this jacket, I think the sleeves are considerably longer than I'm most jackets, or it's just that they don't bunch up like other jackets.
Are you an Xl or L?I usually have issue with sleeves not being longer on an L, so end up buying XL which sometimes works out but then other times ends up being too wide

This is a classically decent softshell. I've had the grey heather one for years - still looks and performs brand new. It is NOT waterproof, nor advertised as such. It IS a great all-around jacket.
if you've had a previous bionic, this is a huge step down. sizing is weird, I'm generally between a medium and large and the large is tight in the waist but loose in the chest and the arms are too long. the hood fits awkwardly, and the material is very stiff; it does not feel like a typical softshell. really it just feels cheap.
as far as warmth goes, it's a mid weight jacket. probably ok down into the mid 20s and the wind resistance is good. it's definitely not a rain jacket, but it'll keep you relatively dry unless you're caught out in a downpour.
at this price, if it fits well, it's a decent buy. but I definitely miss my stolen apex bionic from 10y ago and this doesn't even scratch the itch
Anyone else having issues with Al's? No confirmation email, but they have processed my payment. I submitted a ticket, and a pop up said won't be processed until you confirm the email they sent. They didn't send an email. Yes, checked spam.

I agree. I think Apex Bionic and Apex Bionic 2 were much better, quality and fit wise.
