Costco has a better price per sqft on their marathon toilet paper.
This deal: $3.15 for 242 sq ft => $0.013 / sq. ft
Costco (everyday price): $29.99 for 2,506 sq ft => $0.012 / sq. ft

oh for crying out loud.

First off, people have discounted Wags gift cards or Wags Cash to pay to cover the full or most of the cost.

If you are in a small apartment, condo, dorm, etc not everyone has space to store a $30 costco size pack of TP. You are outlaying TEN TIMES the money on one Costco pack vs the wags one. Damn right it should be less at that quantity. Costco snobs never look at the big picture. It's absurd to compare that quantity and say "it's a better price". You can't even get a manageable size at Costco to compare it to the walgreens size.

I realize that, but in this scenario, it's ridiculous IMO.

Like saying the per ounce price of a 16oz beer is more than per ounce of buying a full keg. Way too impacted by Costco tunnel vision. I can see if this was a deal for $30 worth of Mega Charmin. It just gets old with these Costco comparisons, like everyone and their grandmother is a Costco member.

You have to pay the membership fee for Costco. Also, you may have to pay for gas to transport your Costco purchase back home. Consider those costs too when you talking about saving $0.001/sq ft.

OP, I think the issue with Costco is that since getting the most discounted prices involves paying a monthly membership fee and/or paying for gas for your car to pick up bulk items, the "bottom line to the penny" equation often isn't the whole cost. It's nice to have the cost comparison, but I love these Walgreens deals bc I don't have to pay for an annual Costco membership, and I don't have to gas up the car. The cost-benefit ratio about Costco comparisons aren't always 100% accurate when a subscription and/or gas/car pickups are involved.

Exactly, I added that above before I read your reply. I love these Walgreens deals and when it comes down to people thumbs-downing what amounts to actual pennies per sheet for Costco subscribers who pay annual memberships and gas, its so funny that people are defending their toilet paper pennies.
It's literally toilet paper pennies and the cost is likely roughly the same after Costco subscription and gas, and the rage thumbs-down are 😅🤣😂😍

If you get 6 of these, you can use the promo code EGG20 which takes 20% off your order and that beats out the costco toilet paper mentioned by another user. Great for someone like me who doesn't have a costco membership. Also works on 6pk paper towels.

OK, I try not to give bad reviews, but I bought 5 packages of these awhile ago and am down to my last package, thankfully. I cannot put this this in the guest bathrooms, or foist it off on my hubby. Had to use it all myself. It's not good, that's the nicest way I can put it. My go-to brands are Quilted Northern, and Angel Soft, and I think I have some Charmin I bought way back when there a good deal.
