Seriously, for most needs LibreOffice https://www.libreoffice.org/ and OnlyOffice https://www.onlyoffice.com/ work great now.

They're both free so why not try them?

Tip: OnlyOffice has a simpler more MS Office like layout but it is more limited in functionality compared to LibreOffice.

Overpriced grey market key reseller
SD gets a kickback else they'd probably ban these sketchy license resellers.

same grey market on other sites:

office 2024 pro plus less than $1
win 11 pro $1.15
visio pro $2

templates are free everyday

$4.15 elsewhere but $13 from SD, where is the deal?

Not practical unless you are working alone. Everyone around you uses Microsoft products. And you need to share files with others. Conversions are far from flawless.

Until Microsoft disables the key
They don't. These are legitimate keys, they just aren't intended for individual sale.

You don't have to use installation files from DigitalKeysBox. As a matter of fact, you can find a link in the email with the keys, which is clear instruction how to install Office using materials downloaded only from Microsoft:
https://digitalkeysbox.com/ltsc-download/ (you will have to copy the text of the link ...)
I managed to create a configuration that deploys Office and Visio at the same time:

yes, the instruction tells you how to download the Office Deployment Tool from MS website and use that to install Office. The configuration can also be generated using MS official tool: https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings

I bought a Windows 11 key from a Groupon "deal" through SD about 2 years ago. It's been fine until my SSD failed and I installed a new one and re-installed Windows. I had to go through the phone activation crap to get it activated again. Not a big deal, but a pain in the butt.

You bought an OEM key tied to a specific hardware combination, you changed your hardware configuration, it activated without issue, and you're *still*complaining? Over what 5 minutes on the phone? You know the same limitations apply to $89 OEM keys, right?

I fell for this crap a while back through a different "reputable deal". I didn't use the key right away, and when I did go to use it it didn't work / was already used. Ended up doing MG anyway. Waste of money.

Don't do it! I've seen the same keys being issued/reissued, also theres language like the key is only valid or must be used in 2 hours or etc... That's because after a few hours its flagged and disabled. When you do a reinstall or rollback it wont activate again. You are better off hacking it at least no one's benefiting from it.

You shouldn't have to go through any process at all unless you're replacing the motherboard while using an OEM key. The only time you should have to engage that process is if your motherboard fails under warranty and is replaced.

I had a problem while using ChatGPT to help me remove the myriad tentacles that MS OneDrive (cloud storage) had on my new Windows 11 PC - it took me a few weeks to totally restore a clean MS Office configuration. Btw, beware of the myriad of rabbit holes that ChatGPT will dig without realizing it's going in circles - very powerful and useful but it's like a super-genious 6 year old who doesn't know what he doesn't know. A lot of times it will make serious mistakes on rote math, so you always have to check it. During that down time I got by fine using LibreOffice (LO) for accessing Word and Excel files, but because I am a power user and used to being able to do things intuitively that would not often work in LO, it was a relief to finally use Office again. BUT I was really glad for LO to be there when I absolutely had to access certain files.

As far as migrating to LO over Office, I am far too familiar with the Office interface to have to learn the differences and modify my workflow. I am still using Office 2021, having migrated from Office 2010 in the past 2 years, and expect to use that until hell freezes over.

This is just not correct. I have grey market keys that are 6+years old that are tied to my Microsoft account. If I upgrade that PC Windows automatically activates again once I type in my Microsoft login into Windows. Microsoft cares less and less as time goes on they are getting out of the selling Operating system business and getting into the giving away the OS and selling your information! They also sell all of those push notifications and advertisements they do now. It is basically a garbage operating system now! I have literally used about 30 grey market keys over the years and I have never once had any issues. Well a few times I had to call the number and activate by voice which is a PPITA reading the key over 3x then having the activation code read to you 3x takes forever ! But every key has worked and every one of those activations is still active! I have 8 PC in my house right now that are all grey market activated! The keys were not even bought from the same key sellers I have used maybe 3 or 4 different sellers! I usually ppay $8-11 per windows key. Pro-tip just go buy old windows 7 or 10 keys for the lower price and they automatically upgrade to Win 11. I have a server at a datacenter that has a grey market copy of Windows datacenter server on it and it works great as well now that is some $1k license I got for like $30 that was a great deal! Otherwise I would have to rent the license key from the barebones server provider and that would add another $50/ month to the server rental ! Why do I have so many PC's . I have my main gaming PC at my desk, a Full motion racing simulator, a static flight simulator cockpit an arcade, a 2nd arcade just for lightgun games with a screen at proper shooting height. a golf simulator with a PC, I have a Virtual Pinball machine with a PC in it, 2 servers one as a general backup server and one that is just a Plex server, a PPC in the living room for emulators and streaming stuff. My wife has a PC in her den. I have a separate server that is on it's own network I use as my torrent server. I have 3-4 more I build just from spare parts as I upgraded the others. I built all of those PC's and all have grey market keys on them! As I upgrade my main gaming PC I move parts down through the ranks to the other PC's down to the Torrent server which is the oldest least powerful machine I have. For example I just moved my I9-9900K with 4080Super down to the flight simulator to a 9950X3D with a RTX 5090 ( I did it back in July of last year before everything went crazy!) Anyways the point is I am not just talking out of my behind I know a thing or 2 about PC's and am very familiar with grey market keys! IS it really even worth worrying about for $15, I mean if the key gets deactivated 3 years later are you really gonna feel like you lost out ROFL!
