Safe bet this is one of the best analog watches you can get under $50. Tough, easy to read, looks way better than you'd expect on the wrist. Note it's a little big, but it's hard to beat for the beach, the pool, etc.

Heck, I'd argue that that MDV-106 (aka the Casio "Duro") is one of the best dive watches under $150.

This. I do watch repair. People will have these forever and they'll really take a beating. But, they'll also neglect them since they're so cheap. I personally wouldn't have a problem investing in regular battery and gasket changes. Why not? You could pass one down to somebody if you took care of it. They're really that good. And like you said, under $150, and screw down crown, it's tough to beat.

I had collected all the colors and then sold them. Really hate I did that. I might have to collect them all again lol

With prices being higher (not just lately but for a while now), seeing these under $50 is almost shocking. This price range (under $50) is where they truly become unbeatable. Anytime I see them here it's a consideration to put one away into the vault.

BTW they're good gifts for any guy that wears watches (in case any men need their lady to start the father's day or sweetie's day gift hunt). Even if a man wears higher tier watches, this will be an acceptable idc watch.

If I didn't had one as my main watch with only 5 years on it I would buy another! Too early to replace!
