Community Reviews

Apple AirPods Max USB C is being treated as a first generation clearance deal, with the newer model already announced but not due until late April. The appeal is the familiar AirPods Max sound and build at a lower price, while the new features on the next version are described as too small to justify waiting or paying more. The main drawback is the lack of a year Apple warranty. Price matching at Best Buy has also worked by using Costco links and a zip code with local warehouse availability, which can bring the cost down further.

It's usb-c version and it is the 1st gen. 2nd gen announced last week. This is a stock clearance sale of gen 1.

Was waiting for the new ones; but honestly debating on just getting the old model. The new features are weak. Not worth the wait and price difference

I was able to ask Bestbuy to price match. You need to reference the Costco Airpod Max deal. https://www.costco.com/p/-/airpod...4000308471

Did you try giving them the Woot link?

Gave them the Costco link.

Edit: Just tried again today (4/1/26) and was able to get it priced matched at Best Buy. I had to give them a zip code with warehouse availability for the item. They said it was out of stock at first then I gave them a zip code about 50 miles away that said there was local availability. Got it for $250 after rewards. Thanks
