This refurbished Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean Extra stands out for its laser soft roller and fluffy head, which make hidden dust, hair, and lint obvious on hardwood, tile, and other hard floors. The fluffy roller is repeatedly described as a big upgrade over a brush roller, especially for deep cleaning. The main drawback is the 90 day warranty, which feels short for a cordless vacuum with a battery that can wear out and be hard to replace. A solid pick if the laser cleaning gimmick is exactly what you want.

  • Hard-floor households that want to spot hidden dust, because the laser and fluffy roller make dirt, hair, and lint much easier to see.

    tsbrewersBTC007SoyfilibCoolStew3336

  • Handy vacuum owners comfortable with light repairs, because the short warranty is less important if you can source parts and fix issues yourself.

    doctorshusbandpinoyguy6234

  • Carpet-and-rug homes that need strong cordless cleaning, because the battery life stays great after a year and the unit handles mostly carpet well.

    CheapskateNate

  • Shoppers who want long warranty protection, because the refurbished coverage is only 90 days.

    BeigeLake5822CoolStew3336doctorshusbandFutureproof

  • People who dislike seeing every speck of dust, because the laser makes hidden dirt much more noticeable.

    tsbrewersSmileShotsBlack_Sands

  • Homes that need a low-maintenance vacuum, because internal nozzles can gunk up and trigger dirty-filter messages while filters and batteries may be out of stock.

Can't get the "TwentyFive" to work. I'd be interested if anyone can get any additional discount stacked on this deal.

If you have an older model or a stick VAC without the LED, you can purchase one for roughly $20. Realized that the price jump just for the laser was not worth imo. Otherwise the attachments have been very good at showing dirt, hair, lint, etc. Like another user stated, I hate the fact that I'm cursed with this knowledge now

My house is mostly carpet and rugs so I bought this and sold the laser fluffy head for $80 on eBay. I see new v8s selling for over $400 and I got my refurb v15 for ~$220 and after a year of use, there's no sign that it was refused, the battery life is still great.

Think the fluffy head from the V15 makes a difference on hard floors? I currently have a V10 that's on its last legs, so thinking about the V10 for $200 or V15 for $270. If the V10 gets the "invisible dirt" as good as the V15, then I'll settle for that. The V10 only comes with the standard roller that's good for all surfaces.

I think the fluffy roller heads definitely make a difference on hard floors.

You definitely want a fuzzy roller for hard floors. Works great and much better than the brush roller.

Yes, it makes a big difference, would also recommend it for the laser
