It's convenient, and the green light is great on hardwood, but the internal nozzles get gunked up with dirt, and will cause the vacuum to throw a "dirty filter" message. I've been on the phone with Dyson support multiple times, and was told it was a dirty filter and they would send me a new one. However, the filters are always out of stock, so they can't send anything. Also, the battery is still only able to be purchased from Dyson direct, and it's out of stock. There are no adapters allowing you to use power tool batteries.
Buy a used Miele for this. They're nice, and I wish I went that route instead.
