Also HP is windows and apple is macOS. Not exactly comparable. People buying macOS generally know what they are getting themselves into.

This is the slowest X1E chip. It's basically the Pentium version of the chip. It's fine for browsing and multimedia but that's about it.

I wouldn't call it a pentium though. It's an 8 core with great battery life and outperforms R5's in this price range.

I own a Snapdragons, if you care about battery life, once you get this processor, you will never go back to another Laptop platform. The Snapdragons sip the battery life ; it lasts all day. These laptops are not for gamers, they are for business people or students that want a long lasting battery life.

Yep, I never go back to Intel or amd. They both suck at battery life.

Do not buy this for school. Check your school's IT for minimum requirements. Some software like testing ones will not work with the snapdragon processor.

How far along has the software compatibility come?
I had a snapdragon processor about 14 months ago and some of my software was incompatible for Windows 11 ARM chips.
